Work Experience
After graduating high school, I started working at Epson Portland Inc. I was an assembler for three months. I then transferred to the quality department as a quality inspector. Within six months I became the quality lead.
After three years, I left Epson for a position at Masterbrand Cabinets as a finisher. I later transferred to assembly and then on to quality where I became the Incoming Quality Auditor. I was then promoted to Quality Technician after I received my ASQ-CQT (American Society for Quality - Certified Quality Technician). After a few years, I was promoted to Technical Specialist where I remained until the facility closed in 2007.
I went to work at Comcast as an Customer Account Executive, giving phone support to people with their cable TV, internet and phone repairs.
I am now a Quality Manager at Schmitt Industries Inc. in Portland.
